Highlights from the Dec 2024 - Nov 2025 season.
This covers the period since our last permit renewal in November 2024.
Milestones
November 2024: Hayes Promenade permit renewed with the addition of Saturday mornings, the first ever expansion of our permit. Schedule expanded to Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm.
March 2025: Amplified sound permit established, allowing more live music.
June 2025: Entertainment Zone legislation passed, allowing local businesses to serve alcoholic drinks to-go.
September 2025: Planning and Urban Design study initiated by UC Berkeley graduate students.
November 2025: Large planters deployed into Hayes Promenade. Many thanks to PROXY, ENVELOPE A+D, and Civic Joy Fund for making this happen. Click here for photos from our first planter-filled event.

Come enjoy a night market highlighting local Hayes Valley artisans, and feature electrifying live music, interactive exhibits, family-friendly lawn games and more! Local eateries will have discounted food and drink.
